[NEWS] Muore Hiroshi Yamauchi, storico presidente di Nintendo

Hiroshi Yamauchi è morto. All’età di 85 anni, lo storico presidente di Nintendo lascia tutti quanti i fan della Grande N. Dopo essere rimasto in carica dal 1949 al 2002 e aver vissuto gli anni ruggenti dell’industria videoludica, Yamauchi lasciò il suo ruolo dirigenziale a 75 anni, per passare il testimone a Satoru Iwata, pur continuando a collaborare con Nintendo. È stato il più famoso, nonché ultimo presidente della società appartenente alla famiglia Yamauchi, e pronipote di Fusajiro Yamauchi, fondatore di Nintendo.

A lui si deve la completa trasformazione dell’azienda nipponica, passata da società produttrice di carte hanafuda al colosso videoludico che conosciamo oggi, dopo aver sperimentato una serie incredibile di aree imprenditoriali tra gli anni ‘50 e i ‘60: Super Mario, NES e tutte le altre storiche proprietà della società giapponese sono passate attraverso Hiroshi Yamauchi, al quale i fan storici dell’azienda devono sicuramente tantissimo.

Ex uomo più ricco del Giappone, Yamauchi è stato anche il proprietario dei Seattle Mariners, squadra di baseball della Major League americana ancora di proprietà di Nintendo of America.

Io sempre e solo Nintendo: SNES, N64 e Wii. Non ho mai avuto il NES né la Game Cube anche se ci ho giocato a casa d'altri. Probabilmente salterò la Wii U ma non è detto.

Anche la mia infanzia è stata accompagnata da Nintendo soprattutto col brand dei giochi dei Pokèmon, ora sono un Sonaro a bestia cmq dispiace sempre quando scopri queste notizie..
