Creato da Gardner Fox e & Harry Lampert nel 1940, padre e primo supereroe della Silver age, sebbene la sua prima incarnazione risalga alla Golden age,The Flash, dopo un mediocre adattamento di alcuni anni fa, torna sulle tv americane ad opera del team che ha portato al successo Arrow.
La DC Comics sembra interessata a sfruttare un bel po' il rinnovato interesse per il mondo dei supereroi, e dopo Arrow, Gotham, il sequel di Man of Steel e il film della Justice League, mette in cantiere quest'altro progetto, che sembrerebbe però meno accattivante degli altri.
The Flash, che nel comicdom ha avuto ben tre incarnazioni (Jay Garrick, Barry Allen, Wally West e per un anno anche Bart Allen) è attualmente nella propria serie regolare il buon Barry Allen, che pertanto viene ripreso anche nel serial.
Barry è un giovane fighetto con un particolare talento per la chimica, collabora con la scientifica, gli piacciono i fumetti, ed ha un grosso problema... soffre di eiaculazione precoce... Ed è un bel problema per il buon Barry, ma non ci si può far nulla, neanche l'andrologo riesce ad aiutarlo, e così Barry diventa un povero frustrato.
Un giorno durante un esperimento viene investito da un fulmine e così sviluppa particolari poteri, gli unici che non avrebbe mai voluto... perché il buon Barry diventa l'uomo più veloce del mondo, e in tutti i sensi... Se prima durava almeno 2/4 minuti ora dura tra i 3 e 4 secondi... e così Barry diviene ancora più frustrato e decide di scaricare la propria frustrazione sui cattivi, corcandoli di mazzate alla velocità della luce.
The Flash è un'opera a meta tra un trattato di andrologia e uno speedtest per la rete adsl... Non so cazzo che uscirà :em15: .

Dicono che se mettete il trailer alla massima velocità sul lettore sentirete dei versetti satanici, un po' come quando mettete i dischi degli zeppellin all'incontrario...

Sarà Gal Gadot ad interpretarla. Farà anche una comparsina nel sequel di Man of Steel. Ci si attende molto, perché nel reboot Dc lei e l'uomo d'acciao hanno una relazione ;)
