[NEWS] Cina: invasione di calabroni giganti

CINA - Impressionante attacco di calabroni giganti in Cina negli ultimi giorni. Sono ben 28 le persone decedute dopo l’incontro ravvicinato con questi calabroni nella provincia meridionale cinese dello Shaanxi. Le aree maggiormente colpite sono le località remote di Ankang, Anzhong e Shangluo, scrive il quotidiano locale, Chinese Business. I calabroni responsabili dell’attacco sono della grandezza di un pollice, appartengono alla varietà dei calabroni giganti asiatici, o ‘Vespa Manadarinia‘, secondo il loro nome scientifico, e sono noti per la quantità di veleno presente nei loro pungiglioni superiore a quella dei normali calabroni.

L’invasione dei vespidi aveva già prodotto ieri le prime diciotto vittime. Questo fenomeno si verifica con regolarità ogni autunno, nelle aree colpite, hanno spiegato le autorità locali, che da luglio scorso hanno rimosso più di trecento nidi dalle aree residenziali. Le autorità sanitarie hanno dichiarato di lavorare a un piano di pronto intervento specialistico per le persone colpite. Secondo quanto riferito da un medico locale, i pazienti con almeno dieci punture dovranno sottoporsi a un trattamento specialistico, mentre chi è stato punto trenta volte necessita di un trattamento di emergenza.
