[CINEMA] Girlfriend Boyfriend (aka GF*BF), di Yang Ya-Che

Tre segmenti (1985-1990-1997), tre personaggi, due leganti: l'amore e la tumultuosa storia dell'uscita di Taiwan dal terrore dell'aggressione della Cina popolare. Il segmento migliore è il terzo, quasi wongkarwaiano, mentre il primo è forse un po' edulcorato e cazzone per goderne appieno. Cmq in regia c'è qualcuno che ci sa fare, e questo Yang Ya-Che sembra da tenere d'occhio.
Gwei Lun-Mei bravissima, ma anche Joseph Chang rimane impresso.

Interessante. A quanto pare il regista rimane su un tipo di narrazione aneddotica. Grazie, sono curiosa di vederlo.

Bella storia generazionale che abbraccia più di 20 anni con epilogo ai giorni nostri, molto sottinteso, ma chiaramente intellegibile.
Amore ed amicizia spesso in contrasto furioso tra loro in un racconto che man mano che procede si adagia su toni nostalgici, tra ribellione e aspirazioni sociali in una Taiwan ancora sotto torchio, dove regna il senso di incompiuto ( eccolo Wong Kar Wai ;) ) e di incapacità a concretizzare le proprie aspettative.
Regia solida ( Yang Ya Che al secondo lavoro già candidato al Golden Horse) che si fa apprezzare e due interpretazioni degne di nota.
