Asian Film Awards, 18ª edizione


HONG KONG - Domenica 16 marzo all'interno del Xiqu Centre di Hong Kong si è svolta la diciottesima edizione degli Asian Film Awards.

La coproduzione indiana di Payal Kapadia "Amore a Mumbai" (All We Imagine as Light) ha vinto il premio come miglior film, coronando un già notevole risultato iniziato con la vittoria a Cannes l’anno scorso.
Yoshida Daihachi ha vinto il premio come miglior regista per "Teki Cometh", mentre Sean Lau ha vinto il premio come miglior attore protagonista per "Papa" e Shahana Goswami come miglior attrice protagonista per "Santosh". Sandhya Suri ha vinto il premio come miglior regista esordiente sempre per "Santosh".
"Exhuma", "Stranger Eyes" e "Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In" hanno tutti collezionato due premi ciascuno. Qui di seguito tutti i vincitori.

Migliori effetti visivi: Kim Shin-chul e Daniel Son per "Exhuma" (Corea del Sud).
Migliori costumi: Choi Yoon-sun per "Exhuma".
Miglior montaggio: Cheung Ka-fai per "Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In" (Hong Kong).
Miglior produzione: Kenneth Mak e Chau Sai Hung Ambrose per "Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In".
