Seung-ho e Dong-sik sono innamorati della stessa compagna di classe e le danno un appuntamento nello stesso giorno per verificare chi tra i due le interessi. La ragazza decide di uscire con Seung-ho, e qualche giorno dopo viene rinvenuto il suo cadavere presso il fiume del villaggio. Il fratello maggiore di Dong-sik viene accusato dello stupro e dell'omicidio della ragazza, ma Dong-sik nutre il dubbio che ad uccidere la ragazza sia stato il suo migliore amico Seung-ho.
