@battle: Io non sarei così pessimista, anche noi in italia abbiamo dei discreti talenti. Del resto anche in Corea, i giovani talentuosi vengono spesso schiacciati dall'onnipresente e ossessivamente uguale koreanpop.

한음파 (Hanumpa)
Interessante band rock/grunge con spunti psichedelici e un tocco folk, il cantante suona il morin khuur, uno strumento tradizionale mongolo. Dopo l'esordio nel 2001 con l'omonimo EP tornano a distanza di otto anni con il loro primo album dok-kam, che ospita anche Yona dei Nastyona nella title track, seguito l'anno successivo dal nuovo EP Jan-mong.

Island City
Un'altra bella scoperta nel panorama indie questo gruppo che suona un ottimo rock leggero e pulito tra canzoni vivaci e mid-tempo melodici, noto anche per il brano Starry Night della colonna sonora del drama God of Study.

Musicista nota per le sue collaborazioni con i 3rd Line Butterfly, in particolare il brano di apertura della colonna sonora di ...ing 그녀에게 (Gunyeo-ege), nel 2008 esordisce con il suo primo (e finora unico
) album da solista 민들레 코러스 (Min-dul-le Ko-reo-su / Dandelion Chorus). Disco al primo approccio un po' ostico per il sapore semi-sperimentale nonché per la voce esile e poco più che sussurrata dell'artista che però si rivela fondamentale, assieme alle note del suo haegum (strumento tradizionale a corda), nel caratterizzare le sonorità eteree ed ipnotiche dell'opera.Al lavoro hanno collaborato artisti della scena indie coreana quali Crying Nut, The Moonshiners e Kingston Rudieska.
