E' un bellissimo film sulla città di Hong Kong e sull'evoluzione dei rapporti fra di essa e la Cina, ma è soprattutto un film che ci parla dei sogni e della loro fugacità; è anche un passionale racconto romantico che non si perde in inutili smancerie. Bravissimi gli attori, soprattutto Maggie Cheung.
Sottoscrivo: davvero un bel melò. Il suo punto forte è il contesto in cui matura la storia d'amore, il modo in cui fa incombere sui personaggi l'ombra lunga di una condizione errante che sembra condannare alla precarietà (familiare, sentimentale, economica) chi decide di intraprendere una vita da emigrante.
