..::Trama::..

Quando un popolare studente di nome Kirishima decide improvvisamente di lasciar perdere le attività che lo hanno portato al top della sua popolarità, i suoi compagni non riescono ad accettarlo. Delle dicerie iniziano ad espandersi sul perché abbia preso quella decisione, portando a malintesi, confusione, e ingiusti rancori tra i suoi coetanei. Nel frattempo, anche i ragazzi più nerd che hanno passato la loro carriera scolastica nell’ombra, risentono dell’effetto farfalla, come Ryoya Maeda, che inizia a documentare gli eventi per il suo progetto cinematografico.

- Il film è basato sul romanzo “Kirishima, Bukatsu Yamerutteyo” di Ryo Asai.
- Il romanzo di Ryo Asai racconta la storia di vari personaggi, mentre la pellicola si focalizza su due di loro: Ryoya Maeda, e Hiroki Kikuchi.
- Le riprese si sono svolte nella città di Kochi, in Giappone.
- Il film ha ricevuto la candidatura ad otto premi, vincendone la metà, ovvero quattro.

Film decisamente originale, tarantiniano sotto certi punti di vista.
Ho apprezzato le prove offerteci da un po' tutti i giovani interpreti; nessuno di loro, infatti, ha prevalso sull'altro.
Da vedere, senza dubbio.

Era presenta una battuta il cui timing risultava inesatto per un mio errore di battitura.

Considerato il consenso ottenuto in patria mi aspettavo qualcosina di più. Non è male la caratterizzazione dei vari studenti e la riflessione sullo stato adolescenziale, però non mi ha convinto pienamente nel complesso.
Simpatiche le citazioni cinefile (Tsukamoto, Romero) e bella la scena zombie girata-immaginata con la 8 mm da uno dei ragazzi che sogna di fare il regista.
