Ho provato con Snake of june, ma credo che sia il video meno adatto per fare la prova ;)
Vedrò se c'è qualcosa di meno impegnativo :P

Io l'ho usato abbastanza, non prima di essermi sciroppato tutte le guide online
che ho trovato...
ma i risultati sono abbastanza mediocri e direttamente proporzionali ai seguenti fattori:

1. Tipo e qualità dei caratteri hardsubbati (vedi Winter Sonata che li ha in corsivo....)
2. Presenza di bordi o ombreggiature (un disastro queste ultime...) che a seconda dei casi aiutano o infastifiscono l'OCR
3. Quantità di pazienza da dedicare alla mappatura dei caratteri.

Non so se qualche arcano mi è sfuggito, ma nel mio caso (che era pessimo, e che tu conosci...) ho mandato tutto a ramengo.... :rotfl:

Però immagino che su caratteri ampi, ben definiti e dotati di un bordo netto e contrastato si possa ottenere qualche buon risultato.

Peccato che quanto sopra non si verifichi pressochè mai.... :em83:

Ti ringrazio, ma citavo Winter Sonata solo per fare un esempio dell'utilizzo di
un carattere infelice in un hardsub. Non sto traducendo il titolo in questione,
visto che se ne sta occupando qualcunaltro, e anche bene.

Cmq volevo aggiungere che a seguito della lettura della guida linkata in questo thread, mi sono cimentato nuovamente
con subrip dedicandoci un pomeriggio a fare del "fine tuning" e cercando di estrapolare i sottotitoli della seconda puntata di Orange Days.

Dopo un iniziale esaltazione per il miglioramento ottenuto nella rilevazione, rivedendo il risultato finale mi sono dovuto ricredere. Il problema principale è che il programma fa un po' quello che vuole lui. Anche quando sembra aver imparato a riconoscere i caratteri e non ti si blocca ogni 3 secondi per chiederti delucidazioni, si inventa le cose più improbabili...;)
Non parliamo dei timing, poi. sembra che lo spari a casaccio. Il file ottenuto è risultato alla prova dei fatti completamente inservibile.

Magari sto continuando a sbagliare tutto....
