Ma sì... qui nessuno sta idolatrando il buon zio Ulrich, semplicemente è apprezzato perché è stato in grado di proporre un genere cinematografico che esce fuori dai canoni "mainstream" (pur essendo lui stesso decisamente famoso). Un misto di realismo, stile documentaristico, minimalismo e un certo gusto per le "devianze" e/o passioni represse tipicamente umane.
Tra l'altro lo trovo assai attuale, il che significa che Seidl stesso segue attentamente lo sviluppo sociale ed è in grado di rappresentarlo tramite la mdp a suo modo.
Poi, certo, non è il mio "filmmaker del cuore" però lo stimo.

battle è colmo di passione cinefila. E la passione - in generale - è il profumo della vita! :em64:
(Non l'ottimismo... quelle sono tutte balle :em66:)

Comunque la scena greca raramente delude. Sono curioso di vedere cosa spunterà fuori dopo questo Luton.

Ma perché ti sta così sulle palle? XD Non capisco. Che ti ha fatto?
Secondo me già solo per il suo modo di lavorare per ritratti avrebbe da insegnare a gran parte dei registi più inflazionati che pretendono le geometrie e raggiungono solo il kitsch (non faccio nomi per non essere fucilato).

tutto questo mi incuriosisce sempre di più (per inciso sono una estimatrice di Seil, per me me Paradies Liebe è un gran film)
peccato che Luton non lo vedrò mai perchè introvabile!
