In questo periodo i vari Paesi candidano un film all'Oscar (come miglior film straniero). L'Italia ha annunciato la scelta di Fuocoammare di Gianfranco Rosi. Vediamo le cinematografie asiatiche.

Il fatto è che - quasi sempre - gli americani se la suonano e se la cantano da soli. Trovo alquanto "strano" che non vi siano mai stati riconoscimenti ad alcuni dei più grandi registri e interpreti orientali.
Non credo che quest'anno sarà diverso.

Comunque, ho guardato i trailer che hai postato, sono molto interessato a vedere:

Io per ora ho visto il coreano (blockbuster di qualità, con un paio di momenti di alta scuola grazie alla regia di Kim Jee-woon e all'ottimo cast, dove spicca manco a dirlo Song Kang-ho) e il giapponese che è conosciuto anche con il titolo di Nagasaki: Memories of My Son (solito film del buon vecchio Yamada con perdonabile eccesso di melassa. Anche qua buon cast, spicca Kuroki Haru). Degli altri mi interessa in particolare il filippino, conoscendo Mendoza.

Anche la Cina ha scelto il suo film candidato (aggiunto, con trailer, nella lista in alto): Xuan Zang, film sul famoso monaco buddhista del periodo della dinastia Tang diretto da Huo Jianqi (in archivio i sottotitoli di alcuni suoi film, tra i quali segnalerei in particolare Postmen in the Mountains) e prodotto da Wong Kar-wai

Quello è stupendo. Invece ho visto il trailer di Xuan Zang e non mi ha fatto una grande impressione.
