No, comunque anche quello che ho letto in recensione, e pure dopo, mi ha aiutato. Ad esempio il discorso sull'amore verso i personaggi. Non so se sia proprio amore, non vorrei che l'uso di questo termine fosse abusato. Però riconosco che anche se su certe scene Matsui insiste, è vero che non dà mai l'impressione di accanirsi: il racconto di questa gente ai margini non è un documentare asettico, né arriva mai al patetismo, alla fine non li disprezzi né fai il tifo per loro, non ti suscita rabbia né provi un'eccessiva compassione, ma nemmeno ti lascia indifferente. Non mi viene un termine al posto di amore, non me la sentirei nemmeno di dire che Matsui tratta i personaggi con affetto o con simpatia.
Quella roba lì, comunque.

Anche io avevo pensato all'ossessione di Matsui per le solite cose (l'accasciarsi a terra, ad esempio, ma anche i piccioni, le colombe e gli uccelli in generale). Credo che Matsui abbia la grande capacità di mettere in scena le proprie ossessioni e dipingerle come se fossero dello spettatore.
E come dici, ti colpisce, ma non ti da la possibilità di provare qualcosa per i suoi personaggi. Io chiamerei quell'amore, simbiosi.
