Sang-hoon era un semplice impiegato di banca, fin quando il suo capo non lo coinvolse in un giro di prestiti illeciti per i quali dovette scontare una pena in galera. Adesso fa il tassista, ma il suo magro stipendio non gli permette di sposare Ju-hee, una sua ex collega con cui è fidanzato, affogata nei debiti per curare il padre di Sang-hoon che ha avuto un ictus. Sang-hoon vuole rompere con Ju-hee per garantirle un futuro che con lui non può avere, ma la ragazza gli propone di derubare la loro banca per risolvere i loro problemi finanziari. Proprio mentre Sang-hoon sta aspettando di ritirare i soldi rubati, un rapinatore di nome Chul-gu esce fuori dalla banca con una borsa piena di soldi e lo prende in ostaggio, costringendolo ad accompagnarlo con il suo taxi a Mopko. I piani di entrambi si complicano quando, dopo aver sostato in un motel dove lavora la prostituta Yoon, si accorgono che la borsa con il malloppo è sparita.

La trama lasciava ben presagire, ma mi ha abbastanza deluso.
